Deregistration and Winding-Up Overview
The Malaysian Companies Act empowers the Registrar to strike-off a defunct company if Registrar has reasonable cause to believe that the company is no longer carrying on business or in operation, contravening the Companies Act; used for unlawful purpose and if the company failed to lodge its annual return for three or more consecutive years.
We understand the hardship for dormant and defunct companies to continuously meet with the statutory obligations. Hence, we assist to apply with the Companies Commission of Malaysia for the purposes of deregistration or striking off the name of the Company without having to undertake the formal procedure of winding-up.
We also undertake as liquidator and carry out the process of members' voluntary winding up for company of which is solvent.
